About Me
Hey there! My name is Andrew.
Who Am I?
I'm an Audio Engineer from the Bay Area, California, with a degree in Audio Engineering Technology and Music Business.
I have a background in studio recording, concert production, and small-scale recording solutions.
What do I do?
I am an Audio Editor and Consultant for many independent podcasts. I help people get the results and quality they're after either by editing the show for my clients, or empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to have a great sounding production.
I started Track Edit Print to fill the need of accessible podcast editing services, education, and consulting without sacrificing quality.
I have written many guides and pieces of helpful information on the /r/Podcasting subreddit. If you're editing your own show and a little lost on what to do, there's great advice there that's been tremendously helpful for dozens of other people like you!
What do I plan to do?
I will be launching a YouTube channel that details how to record, edit, and mix & master a professional grade podcast with minimal effort and budget. I'll take you start to finish through the entire process, the right way. We'll be exploring everything from a complete beginners perspective as well as throwing in advanced concepts, too.
Don't worry; It's designed for any budget. We understand that not everyone has thousands of dollars to invest into podcasting equipment, and there isn't a need to. The best equipment is the equipment you already have. We'll be launching a "Guerilla recording" series where we stress-test the limit of low/no budget recording and editing.
What's different about your channel?
Despite the rise in podcasts being released, there's still a lack of a single resource for high quality, accurate audio editing tutorials and information designed specifically for podcasters. Many tutorials and resources are designed for music production, or are ambiguous. While these resources are fantastic, they lack the catering to specific and recurring issues podcasters deal with.
I'm looking to fix that problem and create a resource that walks you through everything you need to know to launch your show at any budget. We'll cover high level and beginner techniques, detailed and 'just release it' editing methods, and practical vs. "textbook" recording environments.
I have more questions!
